I’ve trained with Brian for a fairly short time period (just over 6 months) and it’s a decision I wish I had made much earlier. I started with the intention, simply, of wanting to become and feel physically stronger.

No matter your starting level, Brian quickly instills a no nonsense, positive mindset towards training and gives you all the tools you need to meet your fitness goals. Brian takes time to get to know you, and then builds a routine that suits your lifestyle, giving you no excuses.

I’ve been training with Brian for over 10 years now. I’ve trained in more than a few gyms in my time for various reasons, from commercial gyms like Bannatynes to bunkers, but wherever Brian is where I end up training. He’s a consistently good coach with a no bullshit philosophy. Instills good levels of discipline and his workout programs are second to none. Any time I’ve let myself slip Brian’s helped me jump back on the wagon, work hard and making reasonable changes to my diet etc to so its easier to maintain. He makes sure that as long as I’m training I’m harder to kill.
When I met Brian I was overweight, out of love with training and had no purpose. Roll on a few years with his coaching and support, I since have competed in an Ultra marathon, Hyrox and become a PT myself. The man is more than just a coach!
I love working with Brian. His workouts are fun but testing. His passion for fitness is infectious. I get my best results with him.


I’ve worked with Brian now for nearly 3.5 years now & after taking an initial plunge into the fat loss for busy dads group in 2019. This has proved to been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Not only did Brian help me sustainably shift 2.5 stone in weight in just over a year, which included the pandemic. My relationship with food, sleep & exercise has become so much more positive, each one feeding in to the other to drive on my results.

There of course have been times where I’ve hit a bump in the road or I’ve needed an exercise modified/regressed. This for me is where Brian has excelled, he has never judged me if I couldn’t do it or questioned why I needed regress an exercise. It was all explained to me in ways I could get it, even if I was interrupting his down time away from work, he was always there. This for me is his best trait, the training comes second & the personal part is always first.

If you need a little push or a large helping hand, Brian is definitely the man to see. He will return your initial investment 10 fold & you will develop in areas that you never thought were even possible. So don’t hesitate, if you are thinking of seeking out his help, take the initiative & immerse yourself in the process. The results speak for themselves & I couldn’t recommend anyone above him.

I am now mentally in such a better shape than 2019 & ready to tackle any challenge that’s put in front of me. I am 38 years old, but feel like I could give my 24 year old self a run for their money in terms of how good I feel, how I lift & for much I can endure.
