
A couple of years ago I watched Jack play with some building blocks.
There was no thought process behing it or structure in place. He put random sized shaped and sized blocks on top of each other without any rhyme or reason.
Guess what happened?
The tower fell over and ended up ruined.
This may sound very obvious and you could have guessed that this would have happened.
However, many people adopt this strategy when it comes to their training, diet and fitness goals.
They have no plan or strategy.
They don’t put a solid foundation in place and build on top of this.
They change their approach every other day or week and their ‘tower’ doesn’t develop like it should.
They don’t go from bottom to top in an efficient manner.
You end up smashing your tower to bits and have to start again.
I’m sure many of you can relate to this when it comes to getting in shape, losing fat or building muscle.
If you have a specific fitness related goal make sure you have a plan in place and make sure you have the solid foundations in place before you add extra layers.
